Istanbul Gelişim University and Turkish Vocational Schools Expand Academic Cooperation

Istanbul Gelişim University sent a delegation to the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, meeting Ambassador Anıl Bora İnan to discuss strengthening higher‑education ties between Turkey and Iraq. The talks covered student mobility, joint research projects and the signing of a cooperation protocol with Iraq’s Hilla University, alongside a cultural documentary project on Babylon.

Separately, Edremit Vocational School director Prof. Dr. Selami Selvi visited Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University’s vocational campus. The two institutions exchanged views on shared engineering, computer and mechatronics programmes, laboratory facilities and accreditation processes, aiming to improve technical education quality and share best practices.

Both visits reflect a broader effort by Turkish higher‑education bodies to build academic partnerships at home and abroad.
