Istanbul hosts launch of AI and national technology publication

A comprehensive new work titled ‘Artificial Intelligence and National Technology Reflections’ was introduced in Istanbul on September 4. Developed through a collaboration between the T3 Foundation, the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), and the KÜME Foundation, the book features contributions from 38 scientists, researchers, and experts.

The publication examines the current state and future of artificial intelligence through the lens of national technology. It consists of 25 chapters divided into three main sections, covering topics such as the evolution from traditional systems to superintelligence, big data, processors, large language models, and AI geopolitics. The work also explores the transformative impacts of AI on science, economy, education, public administration, and labor markets.

A significant focus of the book is Turkey’s strategic vision and capacity in the field of artificial intelligence. It details the integration of the National AI Strategy with the National Technology Initiative, specifically highlighting projects such as T3AI, TEKNOFEST, and T3 Gemstone.
