Istanbul Park to host Formula 1 from 2027 to 2031

Istanbul Park has secured a five-year agreement to host the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix, returning to the FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar starting from the 2027 season through the end of 2031.

Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak met at the Atatürk Cultural Center to coordinate preparations for the event. The discussions involved inter-institutional coordination, promotional activities, and upcoming logistical steps.

Representatives from the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) and various government agencies also participated in the planning meetings to ensure the races meet high international standards. The return of the race is intended to leverage Turkey's experience in hosting major international sporting organizations.
