Istanbul to host Global E-Export Summit in 2026

The Istanbul Global E-Export Summit (IGEXX 2026) is scheduled to take place from September 3-5, 2026, at the Haliç Congress Center. Coordinated by the Ministry of Trade and organized in collaboration with the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and the Electronic Commerce Operators Association (ETİD), the summit aims to bring together the world's leading e-commerce marketplaces.

During a promotional meeting, Hasan Önal, Head of the E-Export, Digital Marketing, and New Generation Technologies Department at the Ministry of Trade, noted that the global e-commerce volume is expected to reach $7 trillion by 2026, up from $3.2 trillion in 2019. The summit will feature 50 marketplaces, representing approximately $2.75 trillion in global trade. The event is designed to support the digital transformation of Turkish companies and facilitate their expansion into global markets through a 'global localization' model.
