Recent updates confirm the summit will involve 50 global marketplaces. Hasan Önal, Head of the E-Export, Digital Marketing, and New Generation Technologies Department at the Ministry of Trade, noted during a promotional meeting that global e-commerce volume is expected to reach $7 trillion by 2026. The participating marketplaces represent approximately $2.75 trillion in global trade. The summit is designed to support the digital transformation of Turkish companies and facilitate expansion through a ‘global localization’ model, with the ultimate goal of increasing Turkey’s e-export share to 10 percent.
