Istanbul to host MAKTEK Eurasia and ITM 2026 trade fairs

From 28 September to 3 October 2026 Istanbul will host MAKTEK Eurasia, the leading Eurasian manufacturing exhibition, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center. The fair will showcase machine‑tool technologies, CNC systems, industrial robotics, digital production, Industry 4.0/5.0 solutions and sustainable manufacturing, with support from the Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association and the Ministry of Trade. Organisers aim to position Turkey as a bridge between European manufacturers and markets in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia, inviting Spanish companies and other international participants.

The same year Istanbul will also stage the ITM 2026 textile fair, described by Aylin Rozanes of İkiler Tekstil as a key venue for presenting the latest textile‑machine and automation technologies to a professional, international audience. The event highlights opportunities for companies to meet clients despite visa difficulties, and reflects the sector’s challenges from global economic slowdown and geopolitical tensions, while expressing optimism for a post‑crisis recovery.
