ISTM holds workshop to validate training programs in Chad

The Institut Supérieur des Sciences, des Technologies et des Métiers (ISTM) held a validation workshop in N’Djaména, Chad, on September 26, 2026, to review and harmonize its training programs.

Under the theme of examining and validating pedagogical documents, the workshop brought together experts, educators, and industry professionals. Professor Malloum Sultan, President of the ISTM Scientific and Pedagogical Council, emphasized the need for clear training pathways, rigorous categorization of teaching units, balanced hourly volumes, and a strong equilibrium between theoretical and practical instruction.

Dr. Hassan Mahamat Souleymane, Director General of ISTM, stated that the institute was established to support Chad’s sustainable development by producing highly qualified human resources. The initiative aims to ensure that curricula in fields such as business, technology, and the digital economy are aligned with the evolving requirements of the professional market, public administrations, and private enterprises.
