Isuzu launches D-MAX pickup truck in Mexico
Isuzu has introduced the D-MAX pickup truck to the Mexican market, bringing over a century of Japanese engineering and heavy-duty expertise to the country's productive sectors. The vehicle is designed to translate the durability and performance of Isuzu's heavy trucks, such as the ELF and Forward series, into a versatile and agile platform for industrial and logistical use.
The D-MAX lineage traces back to the 1963 WASP model and the 1972 Isuzu Faster, the company's first one-ton pickup. Following the evolution of the Faster Rodeo series in the 1980s and 1990s, the first official generation of the D-MAX was launched in 2002. Subsequent generations in 2011 and 2019 focused on safety, environmental care, efficiency, and modern design.
Throughout its global development, the model has prioritized high-torque diesel engines and improved fuel efficiency to meet the operational demands of various commercial sectors.
