Itaú launches exclusive Sala Pedra Preta VIP lounge at Guarulhos Airport

Itaú Personnalité opened the Sala Pedra Preta, a two‑storey, 24‑hour VIP lounge in Terminal 3 of São Paulo‑Guarulhos International Airport. Designed by U.S. firm Perkins&Will and curated by Brazil’s Estúdio Campana, the 1,400 m² space targets high‑net‑worth clients of the Personnalité and Private segments.

The lounge offers private meeting rooms, a curated art collection—including works by Candido Portinari and Beatriz Milhazes—premium gastronomy led by Michelin‑starred chef Luiz Filipe Souza, and a wine list featuring labels such as Brunello di Montalcino. Additional amenities include showers, quick‑massage stations, a nursery, and on‑site Itaú financial advisers to handle banking matters during travel. A separate Ultra‑Private area is reserved for Private clients with assets of at least R$ 10 million.

Access is limited to eligible cardholders (The One, World Legend, and Private customers) and designated guests, reinforcing Itaú’s move from third‑party lounge partnerships to an owned premium experience for its affluent clientele.
