Italian Air Force announces recruitment for 50 officer positions

The Italian Ministry of Defence has announced two recruitment competitions for the Italian Air Force for the year 2026. The call for applications aims to fill 50 positions for cadet officers.

Specifically, the recruitment includes 20 positions for the 133rd course of Complementary Pilot Officer Cadets (AUPC), which leads to military pilot training with a 12-year term. Additionally, 30 positions are available for the 18th course of Fixed-Term Officer Cadets (AUFP), focusing on technical and administrative roles within the Air Force's special roles, including the Air Force Weapons, the Commissariat Corps, and the Aeronautical Engineer Corps.

Applications must be submitted by September 10, 2026. Requirements vary by role, ranging from high school diplomas to university degrees for specific engineering categories.
