Italian amateur football clubs await registrations and transfers for new season

Italian lower‑division clubs are finalising preseason preparations ahead of the 2026‑27 season. The regional football federation has released dates for friendly matches, and several teams have confirmed player signings and coaching appointments, including new arrivals at Arzignano, Bassano and Barbarano Mossano.

Meanwhile, clubs in Tuscany are awaiting the outcome of possible ripescaggi as the registration deadline for Serie D approaches on 10 July. Teams such as Viareggio, Grassina and Pietrasanta hope to fill any vacancies that arise from withdrawals, while Serie C clubs Livorno and Grosseto have already completed their applications. The league structures for Serie C, Serie D and Eccellenza will be confirmed by early July, with the season slated to start in mid‑September.
