Overview

In early July 2026 Italy’s amateur clubs were racing to meet registration deadlines for the 2026‑27 season. At the same time, Serie C side Salernitana faced criticism from its ultras after a friendly loss, with supporters urging the club to sign stronger players. Potential reinforcements such as Zoia, Heinz and Pietro Ciotti were mentioned as the team readies for the upcoming campaign.
