Italian authors present new noir novels at regional literary events
Recent literary events in Italy have highlighted new noir fiction. In Riesi, author and lawyer Salvatore Falzone presented his novel “Il sale dei morti” (Neri Pozza) at the Auditorium “Filippo Scroppo”. The event was part of the Book Meet Riesi series, organized by the Anpi “Gaetano Butera” section and BCsicilia, aimed at using reading as a tool for social reflection and memory.
Additionally, Alessio Tanzi is set to present his novel “Come un uomo che cammina sui pezzi di vetro” at the Campania Libri Festival on October 2. Published by SBS Edizioni, the noir novel explores themes of memory, guilt, and the past, set against the backdrop of Ostia and the Roman coast.
