Literary events and book presentations in Italy

Overview

Various literary events and book presentations are taking place across Italy, covering diverse genres and social themes.

In regional events, authors have presented noir fiction, including Salvatore Falzone’s “Il sale dei morti” in Riesi and Alessio Tanzi’s “Come un uomo che cammina sui pezzi di vetro” at the Campania Libri Festival. These works utilize storytelling to explore memory and social reflection.

Scheduled presentations at Feltrinelli bookstores include Victoria Karam discussing “Volti italiani,” a collection of testimonies regarding the challenges of obtaining Italian citizenship for those with migratory backgrounds. Additionally, Antonella Cilento is set to present “La fabbricante di isole,” an exploration of the identity and geography of Southern Italy and the Mediterranean.
