Italian Carabinieri conduct school outreach with canine unit and student thesis recognition

In Monticello, the Carabinieri’s canine unit visited the Bocconi preschool to teach children about respect for animals and the role of the police. Dogs Adolf and Roxi demonstrated obedience exercises while officers, including Lieutenant Christian Cuciniello and Mayor Alessandra Hofmann, explained how the force helps the community.

In Misilmeri, Captain Alessandro Baule, commander of the local Carabinieri company, met 13‑year‑old Aurora Geraci, who wrote her middle‑school thesis on the Carabinieri. The project highlighted the force’s principles of legality, solidarity and duty, referencing historic figures such as Salvo D’Acquisto. Baule thanked her for the work and encouraged her to continue upholding those values.
