Italian police receive new personnel in Abruzzo, Tuscany and Liguria

The Carabinieri have assigned sixteen new soldiers to the province of Teramo in Abruzzo. The reinforcements are split between ten permanent units placed in mobile radio sections in Teramo and Alba Adriatica and stations in Corropoli, Mosciano Sant’Angelo, Giulianova, Colonnella and Notaresco, plus six senior officers sent as summer support to coastal stations in Silvi Marina, Pineto, Giulianova and Tortoreto.

In Tuscany, eighty‑one freshly trained Carabinieri have begun service across all ten provincial territories. Thirteen of them are posted to the Florence area, with the remaining troops distributed to strengthen local presence in small towns and villages throughout the region.

The Ministry of the Interior has also approved a boost of seventy new State Police officers for Liguria. Thirty‑four will join the Genoa police headquarters, thirteen will go to Savona, nine to the Alassio commissariat, and seven each to La Spezia and Imperia. Regional officials said the additions aim to improve preventive and control activities and raise overall public safety.
