Italian Catholic groups launch Franciscan‑inspired summer programs

On 14 June 2026, the Diocese of Massa‑Carrara‑Pontremoli will hold a family festival at the Villaggio del Fanciullo in Lunigiana. Organized by the pastoral family team, the event commemorates the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis’s death and focuses on ecological stewardship and communal values.
