The photo shared on social media highlighted dates for two events on 8 July in the north and 15 July in the south, signalling a push for unity ahead of the 2027 elections.

Matteo Renzi, leader of Italia Viva, was not present. He responded on X, stating that his party is not part of the photographed group but intends to build a programme‑based alliance to oppose the current right‑wing government, while warning that a reformist component is essential for the left’s success.
