Italian clubs Mondovi Volley and Savino Del Bene sign Valentina Brandi and Sara Alberti

Mondovi Volley announced the signing of setter Valentina Brandi (born 2004) for the 2026/27 season. Brandi joins after a season with Garlasco in Serie B1, where she helped secure promotion to A3 and reach the Coppa Italia Final Four. She previously spent three consecutive seasons in Serie A2 with Messina, Albese and Futura Volley Giovani Busto Arsizio. Club director Max Rubado highlighted her technical skills and leadership, and Brandi said, "Sono entusiasta di iniziare questa nuova avventura. Savino Del Bene Volley confirmed the return of middle blocker Sara Alberti (born 1993, Brescia) for the next season. Alberti, who previously played for the club in 2015‑16 and from 2021‑24, helped the team win the Challenge Cup and CEV Cup. After a recent stint with Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76, where she recorded 151 points and 41 blocks, she described Savino Del Bene as a "second home" and expressed excitement to contribute to future successes.
