Italian Communities Boost Youth and Healthcare Support Through Volunteer Initiatives

From May 15‑17, primary‑school students in Bellano participated in a three‑day field program called Campo Scuola 2026. Organized with the support of the local Civil Protection volunteers, the event combined classroom learning with outdoor activities in Bergamo and the Val Taleggio, emphasizing teamwork, community responsibility and the role of volunteers in public safety.

In a separate initiative, cadets from the Carabinieri School donated six wheelchairs to the CTO hospital in Iglesias, Sardinia. The donation was presented as a gesture of solidarity with patients and staff, highlighting the Carabinieri’s commitment to civic service and local community support.
