Two Italian women are celebrating significant milestone birthdays in their respective communities.

In Aprica, Maria Lina Apollonio Ricetti has reached the age of 100. A former teacher, she was honored by the local administration and Mayor Dario Corvi with a celebratory parchment. The community recognized her long-standing connection to the town and her role in shaping generations of students and families.

In Laveno Mombello, Maria Assunta Favro is celebrating her 105th birthday at the Fondazione Menotti Bassani. Born in 1921 in Concordia Sagittaria, her life has included living in Tripoli, Libya, during her youth and navigating the hardships of World War II, including the loss of her father and her husband's imprisonment.
