Italian dioceses launch summer youth camps and oratori programs

The Diocese of Fano‑Fossombrone‑Cagli‑Pergola will hold its annual Diocesan Mission Camp from 19 to 25 July. The week‑long event, themed “C’è un tempo per…”, will rotate daily through Urbania, Sant’Ippolito, Orciano, Marotta and Gimarra, and registration is open until 10 July.

In the Milan diocese, about a thousand summer oratories will welcome roughly 250 000 children and adolescents between June and July. The programme involves around 42 000 teenage animators, 3 000 young educators, 25 000 adult volunteers and a mix of priests, consecrated persons and professional teachers, serving youths aged 6‑19 from diverse family and cultural backgrounds.
