Italian Health Minister Orazio Schillaci launches 2026‑2030 workplace safety strategy

Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci chaired the first meeting of the national committee on health and safety at work after the State‑Regions Conference approved Italy's National Strategy for Workplace Health 2026‑2030. The minister described the strategy as a major milestone for the country and outlined a programme of ambitious, measurable goals aimed at strengthening preventive systems and improving coordination among institutions.

The committee will play a central role in the strategy’s implementation, fostering synergies with other bodies such as the Ministry of Labour and reinforcing an integrated, modern approach to protecting workers’ health across Italy.
