Italian healthcare workers stage protests over staffing and service cuts

In Battipaglia, activists and health‑care users rallied against plans to downsize or close the via Gonzaga polyclinic, urging the Campania regional government to preserve the facility, increase medical and nursing personnel and maintain existing outpatient services.
