Italian highways blocked after major accidents in Tuscany and Veneto

An accident at the Orgia roundabout near San Rocco in Pilli halted traffic on the Siena–Grosseto highway. Six people were injured and emergency services, including ambulances and fire crews, responded. The crash caused about five kilometres of traffic queues in both directions, creating significant delays for hundreds of motorists traveling between Siena and the Maremma region.

A separate collision on the SR 308 "Nuova del Santo" near Resana in the province of Treviso involved a truck and a car. The impact forced the closure of a five‑kilometre section of the road between km 22.8 and km 27.5, with traffic diverted onto alternative routes. Police and road‑management teams are working to secure the site and restore normal traffic flow.
