Italian hospitals receive charitable donations for oncology care and advanced surgery
Two Italian charitable groups have made recent contributions to regional hospitals. In Guastalla, the associations Amici del DH Oncologico and Prevenzione Tumori donated a 4K/ICG laparoscopic video column worth €115,900 to the Ospedale Civile, enhancing minimally invasive procedures in general surgery and urology and promising reduced patient trauma and faster recovery.
In Terni, the nonprofit Agàpe gave €5,000 to the hospital’s Onco‑hematology department, funding a scholarship for staff training. This follows an earlier €3,200 contribution to the same facility, underscoring the association’s ongoing support for oncology education.
