Italian motorways A7, A53, and A54 to face scheduled closures

Major roadworks and closures are scheduled for several Italian motorways between September 21 and September 26, 2026. The interventions include extraordinary redevelopment of the Binasco viaduct on the A7 Milano-Serravalle motorway, as well as safety barrier and embankment restoration on the A53 Bereguardo-Pavia link and the A54 Pavia Tangenziale.

On the A7, specific closures are planned for both the north and south carriageways between the Binasco and Bereguardo junctions. These closures will occur during overnight hours on Wednesday, September 23, and Thursday, September 24, 2026. Alternative routes will be directed through local roads to allow traffic to rejoin the motorway at the Binasco or Bereguardo exits.
