Italian municipalities advance PNRR‑funded school renovation and new kindergarten projects

The Terni city council approved a 130,000‑euro project to upgrade the external areas of the Benedetto Brin school, including resurfacing asphalt, new pedestrian access, updated signage and green planting. Funding comes from co‑financing linked to urbanisation charges under the national recovery plan (PNRR).

In the nearby town of Giove, construction of a new municipal kindergarten has reached the 50 % mark. The project, also financed through the PNRR and the EU’s Next Generation programme, has completed foundations and the ground‑floor slab, with a roof slab expected within 20 days. The kindergarten is slated for completion by 31 August and will feature surrounding green space and easy access for families.

Both initiatives aim to improve local educational infrastructure, enhance safety and accessibility, and promote sustainable, community‑focused design.
