Italian municipalities allocate over €1.9 million for school facility upgrades
The municipality of Melzo approved a budget adjustment of more than €1.8 million for public‑asset maintenance, earmarking €55 000 to replace the deteriorated yard of the Saint‑Exupéry primary school with synthetic turf. The aim is to provide a usable outdoor space year‑round.
In Montemarciano, the local government launched a €100 000 renovation of the ground‑floor restrooms at the R. Sanzio primary school. The work, carried out by CSI s.r.l. and designed by the municipal public‑works office, includes new water lines and re‑configuration of spaces to address long‑standing functional issues. Both projects are fully financed from their respective municipal budgets without borrowing.
