Italian municipalities inaugurate new local infrastructure

Several Italian municipalities are marking the completion of local infrastructure projects. In Serra de' Conti, a new school canteen at the G. Leopardi primary school campus on Via B. Martorello is scheduled for inauguration on Saturday, September 19. The facility was funded through European NextGenerationEU public funds to improve student well-being.

In Ostra, the new A. Menchetti lower secondary school will officially open at the site formerly known as ‘Ex Fornace’ starting Saturday, September 12. The project faced administrative delays and a 37% increase in construction material costs after funding transitioned from national sources to the EU-funded PNRR program.

In Gazzola, a new public parking area in Canneto Sopra has been officially named after Ennio Armelloni. The land was donated by the Armelloni family to the municipality, and the naming ceremony was held to honor Armelloni, who passed away in 2022.
