Italian municipalities launch public tenders for childcare and cultural spaces

The municipality of Marigliano (IT) issued a public notice to award the concession for managing its municipal nursery "Il Girasole Azzurro". The three‑year contract (2026‑2029) will be granted through an open telematic procedure, with the award based on the most economically advantageous offer. The base amount is €45,000, with safety costs of €617,509.50 that cannot be reduced. Clarifications must be submitted by 4 August 2026, offers by 14 August 2026 and opening of bids on 25 August 2026.

The municipality of Merate (IT) published a public call to grant part of a building on Via Cerri 51 for cultural and musical activities. The space totals about 226 m² plus additional rooms. Only associations registered in the National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS) and that have run music courses in the past three years may apply. The concession runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 August 2029, with a possible three‑year renewal, and requires an annual contribution of €15,000. Applications are due by 12:00 on 28 July 2026.
