Italian police forces hold safety and legal culture talks for kindergarten children in Merano and Ururi

In Merano, Carabinieri officers and members of the Aliquota Radiomobile visited the Winkelweg kindergarten, engaging about 30 children aged three to five. The program, part of the annual “Culture of Legality” initiative, introduced the youngsters to the role of the police, showcased equipment, and emphasized that officers are “friends in uniform” who protect the community.

In Ururi, a lieutenant of the local police met with preschoolers to discuss road safety, respect for rules, and proper behavior in public spaces. The talk used simple language and concrete examples, such as crossing streets safely, and reinforced the idea that rules protect citizens. The town mayor highlighted the importance of early civic education and presented the children with the municipal and police insignia.

Both events aim to build trust between law‑enforcement agencies and future generations, fostering awareness of safety and legal responsibilities from an early age.
