Italian police hand out toys, books and seized goods to local charities

Members of the Guardia di Finanza from Ascoli Piceno visited the Casa Famiglia Santa Gemma in San Benedetto del Tronto, handing over toys and books collected through a fundraiser among active and retired officers. The visit, attended by the provincial commander Col. Ivano Cerioni and the unit’s drug‑detection canine team, was meant to bring joy to the children hosted by the family home.

In Modena, Carabinieri officers who had seized hundreds of items during an investigation of thefts in the local ceramics district returned the unclaimed goods – including food, hygiene products, tools, sports equipment and small appliances – to the volunteer association Rock No War ODV. The hand‑over took place at the Vignola Carabinieri station, with the association pledging to redistribute the material to families and children in need.
