Italian priests mark jubilee celebrations in Ruvo di Puglia and Burcei

Fra Francesco Maria Sorice celebrated his first mass in Ruvo di Puglia, with three scheduled services in early July offering a plenary indulgence to attending faithful. The events include a Marian spirituality talk and follow a program of prayer across local churches.

Monsignor Gianfranco Zuncheddu returned to his hometown of Burcei for the first Mass of his 60th priesthood anniversary, attended by large crowds from nearby villages and congratulatory messages from the archbishop of Cagliari. A second Mass is planned for his hometown of Seuni later in the week.
