Italian Red Cross launches new volunteer training courses

The Italian Red Cross (Croce Rossa Italiana) is launching new training courses for aspiring volunteers in the Lombardy region.

In Lomazzo, the local committee will hold an introductory session on September 10 at 20:30 at the via dello Sport headquarters. The program is open to individuals aged 14 and older. Volunteers can engage in various activities beyond emergency medical services, including social transport for the elderly and children. Participants who pass the required exam will receive an official certificate.

In Tradate, the Varese Committee will host an information evening on Friday, September 25, at 21:00 at the via del Carso headquarters. This free training course is scheduled to officially begin on October 1. Organizers emphasize that no specific prior skills are required, as the program focuses on motivation and community service through teamwork.
