Italian regional awards honor excellence in Abruzzo and Marche

The CulturiAMO Association will present the 4th edition of the CulturiAMO – Città di Giulianova award on 9 July at the Kursaal Terrace in Giulianova, Abruzzo. Six categories—sport, literature, theatre, music, fashion and scientific research—will be recognized, and a special “Ambasciatore d'Abruzzo” prize will be given to goldsmith Giuliano Montaldi. The ceremony will be hosted by association president Cinzia Mattiucci and journalist Francesco Marcozzi, with local dignitaries and sponsors such as Passacqua Group supporting the event. Attendance is free until seats run out.

The Accademia Marchigiani dell'Anno will hold its awards ceremony on 10 July at the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona, Marche. Twenty individuals from entrepreneurship, culture, science, institutions, social work, sport and other fields will receive the Academy’s prize, while eighteen more will be granted certificates of merit. President Mario Civerchia emphasized the celebration of regional values, and Mayor Daniele Silvetti highlighted the event’s role in promoting Marche’s image and development.

Both ceremonies aim to highlight and reward the contributions of local men and women who have advanced cultural, scientific and sporting life in their respective regions.
