Lazio Region unveils 140 million euro venture capital strategy

The Lazio Region has launched a two-day initiative in Rome to present its integrated strategy for boosting economic and technological growth through venture capital. Organized by Lazio Innova, the program introduces the INNOVA Venture 2 fund, which is part of a broader 140 million euro allocation co-financed by the 2021-2027 FESR Lazio Regional Program.

The regional strategy utilizes four complementary instruments designed to support businesses throughout their entire growth cycle. These include TT Lazio, which focuses on technology transfer and the commercialization of scientific research; Venture Tech Lazio, which has launched nine acceleration programs for pre-seed and seed stages; and various investment funds aimed at mobilizing private capital and attracting specialized professionals to the regional innovation ecosystem.
