Italian regions approve transport subsidy for police and revamp professional training decree

The measure is intended to ease commuting for uniformed officers and increase their presence on public transport, which the union says will improve community safety.

In Campania, the regional administration issued decree no. 381, replacing the earlier decree 325 that risked halting training courses for schools and candidates for ATA grading lists. The new decree removes a ten‑day limit on course listings, sets a 10‑day update window after official publication, and confirms a 180‑day deadline for launching scheduled courses, thereby preventing a potential freeze of professional education programmes.
