Bertinoro opens new municipal nursery with 30 PNRR‑funded places
The Comune of Bertinoro has inaugurated the Santa Maria Nuova municipal nursery, adding 30 new places for children aged 0‑3. The project is financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and features Montessori‑inspired, outdoor‑oriented classrooms. Furniture and equipment were supplied by GAM Gonzaga Arredi Montessori under a €60,000 Ministry grant.
Management of the facility has been awarded to the social cooperative Formula Servizi alle Persone, which already runs the local “Il Bruco” nursery. Enrollment is now open to resident families and, for the first time, to non‑resident families in neighboring areas. Tuition fees will remain unchanged for the 2026‑2027 school year, and additional subsidies are available for families with an ISEE below €40,000, potentially covering the full cost.
Assessora Sara Londrillo highlighted the inclusive design and the commitment to keep early‑childhood education affordable, while Mayor Filippo Scogli underscored the investment as a step toward strengthening community services in Bertinoro.
