Italian regions promote heritage with workshops and museum tours in Marche and Tuscany

In Serra de' Conti, the Borghi della Cultura program organized two natural‑color workshops in August. On 9 August participants learned ecoprint techniques on linen under the guidance of plant‑color expert Giuditta Canuto, followed by a second session on 30 August focusing on indigo dyeing and shibori. Registration cost €20.

On 4 August, Tuscany’s culture assessor Cristina Manetti toured the region’s heritage sites, visiting the Museo Leonardiano in Vinci, Leonardo da Vinci’s birthplace in Anchiano, and the UNESCO‑listed Villa Medicea in Cerreto Guidi. The visits highlighted the region’s historic art, science, and Medici architecture, with Manetti emphasizing the goal of spreading cultural appreciation beyond major urban centres.
