Italian schools launch international projects and celebrate anniversaries
The Istituto Comprensivo Statale ‘Benedetto Croce’ in Flumeri has launched a new Erasmus+ project titled ‘Rewrite the Future’. This international initiative involves partnerships with schools in Poland, Slovenia, and Turkey. The project aims to engage students in creative writing, the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and reflections on the 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals. Key activities include the ‘Stories for People and Well-Being’ international event, which will be hosted in Italy, and the eTwinning project ‘Creative SDG Heroes with AI’.
Separately, the Istituto ‘Florio’ in Erice is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Originally established to meet local demand for qualified personnel in the hospitality, gastronomy, and tourism sectors, the school has expanded its educational offerings while maintaining its core focus on hospitality culture. The institution is currently undergoing facility renovations scheduled to continue through December 2026.
