Italian schools launch new academic year with local initiatives

Educational institutions in Italy are preparing for the new school year with various local initiatives. At Liceo G. Parini in Barzanò, 259 students are beginning the term through experiential learning. The program includes ten different urban paths where students, accompanied by professors, visit local businesses, social organizations, and artistic sites to connect their studies with real-world environments. Participating entities include Beretta, Caritas, and several local enterprises.

In Lainate, a new municipal nursery school on via Val Seriana is set to open. The facility is designed to accommodate 60 children across three sections, emphasizing a curriculum integrated with nature. The building features specialized areas for laboratories, dining, and rest, as well as a multifunctional space that can also be utilized by the local community.
