Italian schools mark milestone anniversaries

Former students of the Istituto Matteo Carnilivari in Noto gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their 1975‑76 graduation. The reunion honored teachers such as the blind Italian professor Coletta, famed for reciting the Divine Comedy from memory, and Professor Musso, remembered for turning mathematics into poetry.

In Forlì, the historic Manzoni school held a farewell ceremony as its doors closed after 60 years. The school’s administration reflected on its role in shaping generations, emphasizing that the institution lives on through its alumni and teachers, and recalling symbols such as the library and school garden that remain part of the community’s memory.
