Italian singer Noemi hospitalized after falling from stage in San Salvo
During her summer tour, Italian pop star Noemi slipped off the stage while greeting the audience after performing the song “Briciole” at the free concert in San Salvo Marina (province of Chieti) on the night of 19‑20 July 2026. She lost balance at the edge of the platform, fell about two metres, struck her head and may have fractured her nose. Emergency services arrived promptly; she was taken by ambulance to the San Pio da Pietrelcina hospital in Vasto for medical examinations.
The incident prompted the immediate suspension of the concert and the cancellation of the scheduled fireworks display. The municipality issued a note wishing Noemi a swift recovery. Later, the singer posted on Instagram to reassure fans, stating that she suffered only minor aches, has been advised to rest for four weeks, and thanked supporters for their messages. She confirmed she intends to resume her 2026 tour in August.
The fall has been cited in a series of recent articles about stage accidents involving other artists such as Gianna Nannini, Alessandra Amoroso, Bruce Springsteen and others, highlighting the recurring risk of on‑stage mishaps.
