Italian singer Noemi remains hospitalized after stage fall, recovery ongoing

Noemi, the Italian pop singer, fell from the stage during a concert at San Salvo Marina in the province of Chieti on 19 July 2026. The accident caused a fractured acetabular socket, a broken fifth vertebra and a head contusion. She was placed in an orthopedic collar and a wrist brace and transferred to a hospital.

She remains in hospital for immobilisation and rehabilitation, stating she must stay still. Noemi said the fracture is not displaced and expects bone callus formation within about thirty days, and expressed hope of returning to live performances on 16 August in Bisacquino, province of Palermo.
