Italian Social Housing Initiatives Grow with Protected Rentals and Crowdfunding Support

In Termoli, the ‘La Città Invisibile’ programme, based on the Housing First model, has provided twelve beds in three apartments for people experiencing homelessness. After two and a half years, the project faces a funding shortfall that threatens the closure of one apartment. Organisers have launched a crowdfunding campaign aiming to raise €3,000, inviting community contributions to ensure continuity of the safe‑housing service and demonstrate a mutual‑welfare approach.
