Italian sports associations acquire new transport vehicles

Two Italian sports associations have inaugurated new transport vehicles to facilitate athlete mobility and support regional growth.

In Mondovì, ASD Atletica Mondovì – Acqua S. Bernardo has launched a new nine-seater Ford Transit Custom through the “Atletica senza distanze” project. The purchase was supported by a 35,000 euro contribution from the Fondazione CRC, covering 70% of the cost, with the remainder provided by private sponsors and association funds. The vehicle aims to transport athletes from decentralized training hubs in areas such as Carrù, Ceva, and Dogliani to the main track in Mondovì, as well as to various competitions.

In Porpetto, the Olimpia Porpetto association has also introduced a new minibus. This acquisition was made possible by a 15,000 euro regional contribution specifically dedicated to transport for associations, alongside support from the local municipality. Local officials attended the inauguration, noting the importance of providing young athletes with the tools necessary to participate in sports and community activities.
