Italian Sports Bodies Sign New Collaboration Agreements
The Italian Army and the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) signed a cooperation agreement in Rome, aiming to develop joint activities that use volleyball as a tool for training, inclusion and social development. General Fernando Paglialunga and FIPAV President Giuseppe Manfredi highlighted shared values such as teamwork, responsibility and service.
Separately, the Italian Paralympic Federation for Intellectual‑Relational Disabilities (FISDIR) and the Italian Association for Culture and Sport (AICS) formalised a protocol of understanding. The pact seeks to promote sport for people with intellectual‑relational disabilities through shared projects, joint events, use of AICS facilities and joint training programmes for coaches and educators, with validity through the current Paralympic cycle.
