This transformation is a promotional strategy for her new mockumentary series, ‘Peccato’, which is set in the year 2049.

Directed by Valerio Vestoso and produced in collaboration with HBO Max and Rai Cinema, the six-episode series follows a fictionalized version of Fanelli. In the show, the character is a 63-year-old former actress living in isolation in the Aosta Valley after a career-ending scandal. The series aims to explore themes of aging, beauty standards, and the fear of professional failure.
