Emanuela Fanelli uses prosthetic makeup to promote Peccato at Venice Film Festival

Actress Emanuela Fanelli has drawn significant attention at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival by appearing on the red carpet with prosthetic makeup designed to make her look approximately 20 to 23 years older. This transformation is a promotional strategy for her new mockumentary series, ‘Peccato’, which is set in the year 2049.

Directed by Valerio Vestoso and produced in collaboration with HBO Max and Rai Cinema, the six-episode series follows a fictionalized version of Fanelli. In the show, the character is a 63-year-old former actress living in isolation in the Aosta Valley after a career-ending scandal. The series aims to explore themes of aging, beauty standards, and the fear of professional failure.

Beyond Fanelli’s appearance, the festival continues to showcase various cinematic works, including ‘Naza’ and ‘Scherzetto’. The event remains a major hub for fashion and celebrity presence, with various attendees receiving attention for their red carpet styling.
