Italian students engage in vocational and creative orientation programs
Educational and vocational initiatives in Italy are focusing on guiding middle school students through the transition to high school and future career paths.
In Sava, the IISS ‘Del Prete-Falcone’ has launched the second edition of the ‘Talenti in Scena’ competition. Moving from theater to cinema, the contest challenges students in the Taranto and Brindisi provinces to create original short films up to ten minutes long. The projects focus on school orientation themes, including family expectations, peer pressure, and personal passion.
In Turin, Stellantis hosted ‘Future Days 2026’ at the Heritage Hub, bringing together over 700 students from seven local institutes. The event featured direct dialogue with industry leaders, including John Elkann and Santo Ficili, who discussed topics such as artificial intelligence, technical skills, and the importance of curiosity and collaboration. Students toured various facilities, including the Battery Technology Center and the Fiat Research Center, to explore the automotive industry firsthand.
